Brandon Hoang
Director, SR&ED and Government Incentives
As Director of SR&ED and Government Incentives, Brandon has helped hundreds of Canadian businesses, including those in software, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals, maximize access to innovation funding through programs such as SR&ED, IRAP, OIDMTC, and Co-Op grants.
With nearly a decade of experience, he brings a balance of technical expertise, audit defense, and client-focused guidance, making complex tax rules more accessible to innovators.
Prior to joining Kreston GTA, Brandon managed the Eastern Canada portfolio at a national SR&ED consulting firm and contributed to research at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute at St. Michael’s Hospital. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering, giving him a strong foundation for understanding complex technologies while navigating government funding programs.
Outside of work, Brandon enjoys basketball and is currently training for a marathon.
